Protective Paper for use with External Wood Pole Pastes

External Treatment Paper, kraft paper with a polyethylene plastic backing, is applied to ground-line area of wooden poles after they have been treated with an external treatment paste. This paper acts as a moisture barrier to keep the preservative paste on the pole and aids in the diffusion process. Poles, Inc. offers a number of lengths, widths and core sizes of paper. Padlock Tape is also offered if additional protection is desired at the area just above ground level.
