Guy Markers and Pole Tops
Guy Guards, also called Guy Markers, are applied to the guy wires that help keep poles in place. The markers, available in many colors and attachment styles, warn pedestrians, drivers, and animals, that the wire is present. Some utility crews apply new guards themselves while others hire contractors to apply them. Call for pricing on full pallet quantity orders of guy guards. Small orders for guards can be shipped via UPS, but oversize shipping rates apply. Pole Tops are also available from Poles, Inc.® A number of styles and sizes are available. Pole tops are applied during new construction, line rebuild or anytime additional top protection is needed. Use of pole tops will increase the service life of the pole, especially in the area above the cross arms.
