Different sizes, styles, and lengths of drill bits are avaliable to help crews properly perform a wood pole inspection and treatment program. Smaller diameter, bell hanger style, bits are often used as an inspection tool during a sound and bore inspection. Larger auger style bits are used to create both inspection and treatment holes.
