Digging Shovels

Poles, Inc.^® offers a variety of specialty digging tools that help make the job of excavating around a standing utility pole or telephone pole more efficient. Starting with a high quality forged steel head, our shovels are matched with a variety of handle sizes and materials to improve crew efficiency and offer individual preference. First, the heads are custom trimmed for a better fit around the pole, then fiberglass reinforcement can be added to any of the wooden handle or fiberglass models for extra strength. Wood handles are sometimes preferred for digging comfort while the solid fiberglass handled models are very popular and strong.
