Wood Utility Pole Accessory Items

A number of products are available to help pole owners protect and prolong the life of their wood pole asset. These items are usually not part of the test and treat program. Both mechanical and preservative based products address important areas of need, and are often purchased and installed by utility crews. An exception is that some utilities do purchase guy markers and have them installed by the test and treat contractor. All accessory items can be installed on new lines as well as in-service lines.
