Wood Preservatives for Wood Bridge & Railroad Tie Maintenance
Many of the preservatives and tools that are used in a wooden utility pole maintenance program are also used for wooden bridge and railroad tie maintenance. Contractors are available throughout North America that specialize in the inspection and treatment of railroad ties and bridges. Many highway departments and railroads also conduct their own inspections. Tenino Copper Naphthenate meets the AWPA M-4 specification as a bolt-hole and end-cut treatment and is also available for wooden bridge and tie treatment.
